Class Presentation Review

                                            

I enjoyed working on the class presentations. I was able to have the great opportunity to work with group 2. Group two consisted of 11 independent students who were a pleasure to work with. Our group was very focused on making sure our work was done properly. Each presentation was very unique and stood out. I believe everyone did a great job putting together their slides and inputting their information to share. I liked how everyone was able to teach their own designated portion of the class textbook and explain it in their way. Watching all of the presentations was eyecatching because of the visuals. The visuals really made a difference because they made the slides seem more organized and decorated. I loved the creativity shown throughout the presentations. Everyone's slides were very different and diverse.

    Everyone presented very well! Most people flowed naturally with their slides and spoke clearly so they were heard. While listening to everyone present, it sounded as they reviewed their material which is why it flowed so well, and some were very confident with their work. It was nice to see everyone with their cameras on because as an audience it keeps us more engaged. Some of the students even dressed nicely for their part of the presentation. Even though this is an online class, I believe we did a great job with this project under our circumstances. It made me, as the audience, feel as if I were in an in-person class when the presenter spoke clearly with the camera on and set up properly. 

    After watching everyone's presentations, I can say that there were not too many technical issues. Our group worked together to make sure everything was set for the day of our presentation. We tried to keep everything organized and ready so there was no confusion in slides nor parts beforehand. Therefore, when the day came, no issues occurred and we were able to proceed with our presentations without any interruptions. During the day of presentations, my group was very aware of when it was their time to speak. I liked the fact that my group was very alert and made sure everyone was presenting at the right time, and if someone was confused on who's turn it was we made sure to establish it through talking in our group chat. 

    I enjoyed working with my group because there were no issues nor problems that happened while trying to complete our project. We communicated whenever we needed to discuss anything and worked everything out together through our group chat on Whatsapp. We all got along and were focused on getting the assignment done. I believe my group built a strong connection through one another which is a great sign for getting work done together. We were all responsible enough to handle our own slides and preparing for our presentations. Whenever someone needed assistance with something we were all there to help. having a great attitude when working with others is a great thing because it created a positive bond within the group. We all were able to depend on one another to get our work done without any problems.

I find it nice that we got to experience working on this project as our assignment. It teaches us how important it is to get comfortable speaking in front of others, even though it is through a device. It also taught us to trust our groups, depend on our classmates, and create a good communication system within one another so we can have a better bond and notify each other of things. This project was perfect because we got to learn about working in groups while having to make a presentation with our group. This assignment brought many students out of their comfort zone, including myself, which is a good thing because in order to get better we must get comfortable being uncomfortable. 

   Working with group 2 really was a great experience. Once our group was formed, it took some time to get to understand each other, but after working together we got to know each other a little more. Then, our group went through the storming stage on learning who was going to play what role and have what job in working together on getting the presentation done. After, we went through the norming stage where all the roles being played were accepted and trust was established. We started to get more comfortable with each other as we all collaborated very well together and kept in communication. Lastly, the performing stage is where we started getting the project done and we made sure that everything was completed properly. Thankfully, my group did not experience any conflict throughout our time working together. I believe that because our group formed a good relationship, that is why we were able to get our presentation done faster. My group also working hard and effectively. We were serious about getting our project done ad determined to make sure that everything was set before we had to present. 

    Overall, I believe that each group worked very hard on their presentations and they came out lovely. The slides were written properly and everyone spoke very well. Working on this assignment taught us to communicate with our classmates, get to understand our classmates and try to understand things from their point of view, take everyone's opinions into consideration even if we disagree, and learn to respect one another and keep a good attitude. Every group had an outstanding presentation and worked 100% on them which is very important. Each group's work stood out and had its own style. Each student did what was assigned and turned it into something great. Everyone made the most of these presentations and learned some things through the process. As our first project, I am proud of all 3 groups for doing their best and making the presentations very enjoyable to watch. I have no doubt that the next project will be just as amazing or even better!
