I really found our Climate Change Presentation very informative and entertaining. I really enjoy working with group 2. I believe that my group works great together and we communicate very well with one another. In order to complete this project, we had to separate into different groups to work on the various portions of the presentation, which consisted of the study guide, the brochure, and the agenda. Then we all had to create our slides and make sure we were prepared to present. Each group had a very unique presentation. Everyone designed them and added their own style to each slide. Especially for this project, the visuals were both fact-based and aesthetic. This assignment required us to research for our topics. My group agreed to work on Climate change. I liked this project because while working on it, we are learning more about our environment and the world we live in. I learned that what we do can seriously affect the circumstances of the environment we are in

Our presentation went very well! Each person went through their slides great and spoke very well. Even when we had to transition from one person to the next it was very smooth. There were no technical difficulties or interruptions. I am proud to say that my group did an amazing job presenting. We were focused and dedicated to making sure that we did our best with creating this project. I love the teamwork that group 2 consists of. After we all broke off into the different parts of the project that we wanted to work on, we each helped each other out and everyone participated in coordinating how are the presentations are going to be held.

I decided to work on the brochure with my classmates. While working on the brochure, my job was to find images that related to anything about climate change. Also, for our google slides presentation, I helped set up everyone’s cover page for their specific topic. Along with that, I had to put together three slides for me to present. In order to work on my slides, I needed to research about our impact on the environment, the acceleration of sea levels rising, and the rise of global temperature. I learned a lot from having to do this project. I learned that the greenhouse effect had a huge impact on global warming, it was actually the cause of global warming. With that being said, something else I learned while working on this project is that another impact on the environment is the sea levels rising. Along with researching information for this assignment, I also added some extra visuals to my slide. These images included information on global temperature, sea levels rising, and long-term climate change effects. I liked the images I chose because they relate to the topic and they give the audience more of an idea of the statistical effect of climate change. My whole group provided very interesting images to their slides along with their researched information. As a whole, I believe my group’s presentation was very well put together.

I really enjoyed having to do this presentation. It puts the students to learn how to research and learn about their topics. It also teaches us to work with one another and learn to cooperate with other people. Having to work with others teaches one that they need to be responsible for their own part of the assignment, have patience for others if they are struggling, learn to help when others need it, communicate with the other classmates to make sure that everything is being done properly and that everyone is on the same page. Therefore, working in groups with others requires discipline, responsibility, time management, and cooperation. On the other hand, group work strengthens the student’s relationships and builds a stronger connection which means the stronger the bond the better the group can work together. The presentation that group 2 worked hard on was to educate and bring awareness to others on the impacts that are going on in our environment. Personally, I was already aware of some of the environmental issues as I was taught about some of it in high school. Therefore, my part was mostly to inform others about climate change.

Besides our group’s presentation, I also learned from the other presentations. Group 1 had a presentation on gender inequality and it was very informative. I feel that group 1 explained their topic very well. They demonstrated that people should not be discriminated against just due to their gender. Also, they explained that both genders should be treated the same way and have equality. My favorite part of their presentation was that they added a Kahoot after they were done with their slides. I believe that this was a fantastic idea and way of keeping the audience engaged and entertained. Just having a kahoot ensures that the audience will want to pay more attention just to have the opportunity to do well in the game. One comment I have to make is that there were moments where the videos were a little overextended and lost my interest at a few moments, but other than that they did an amazing job with their presentations.

Lastly, group 3 also had an insightful presentation about infrastructure. Honestly, I did not know anything about infrastructure before this presentation. Therefore, I did learn a couple of things throughout them presenting. Such as ways that we can advance infrastructure like public transportation, and building more bridges, and repairing roads. Truthfully, I am the kind of person who is not very interested in infrastructure or politics nor do I pay much attention to it, however, I did enjoy a couple of moments in their presentation which I found interesting. Overall, each group did a fabulous job presenting. All of the groups put in their effort to make sure their presentations were great. I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with group 2. I enjoyed being a part of that group. We worked very well together and also got to learn more about one another as classmates.
